Individual Lessons

One on one tuition is the best way to make changes and achieve the quickest results.

Full Swing Analysis

Every player wants to improve their swing. I use video analysis and training aids to identify and correct full swing fundamentals.

Short Game Technique

Along with putting, chipping/pitching is the most important part of the game. It is key to learn the correct technique to improve playing from awkward lies.

Putting Feel/Control

The single most important part of the game. Improve your putting feel, control and technique to roll the ball better on long and short putts.

I understand that each person is an individual so I do not teach a specific method. I am a golf professional and it is my job to find out what works best for each individual golfer. I do a lot of work on each client's initial set up to the golf ball as I feel the golf swing is controlled by many of the smaller aspects of the swing and early stages of the take away. How the club is set at the top of the swing is generally a result of how you set up to the ball and how you first take the club away.

ABOUT DAVYD

Born in the United Kingdom in 1983, Davyd has spent all his life in Australia after his parents made the move to Australia in 1984. Davyd went to school in Picton until year 9 and completed his schooling in Moss Vale in 2001.

Davyd competed in many amateur tournaments winning his club championship at Moss Vale 3 times. Davyd also worked as a greenkeeper during this time for 5 years before taking on a traineeship as a golf professional in 2006.

Performing well in his playing requirements throughout his traineeship Davyd took to the tour as a professional golfer competing on the Australasian Tour for 3 years and also The Asian Tour but was unable to get through qualifying school in Thailand in 2009 and 2010.

In 2011 Davyd took the position as Director of Golf at Mt Broughton and started teaching as much as possible in this time. During his 5 years at Mt Broughton Davyd ran Luxury three day Golf Schools with Peppers Manor House, performed individual lessons, club fit's and groups clinics for his members.

Davyd was also fortunate enough to be involved with Callaway Golf and its sharing program of its Trackman ball flight monitoring system. This helped Davyd not only improve his knowledge and understanding of the ball flight but also provide a club fitting service to members using the trackman software.

Davyd is currently a Certified PGA Professional, Advanced in Coaching and working as a teaching professional at Moss Vale Golf Club.
